Well, an ad on Craigslist drew no looks and neither did a newspaper
ad. I think it is the mileage that scares people. She actually runs,
has a few problems but really runs and the 4WD works too. Tried to
give it to my son so he could learn some mechanical skills but he
just rolled his eyes. This truck is OK, a REAL truck and not
something that belongs in some ad for Men's fragrance.

There are but two real man fragrances. Cordite and #2 Diesel fuel.

I thought it was Miller Lite and pepperoni.

You want $1k???

My 1995 Plymouth Voyager had 138K kilometers on it last April (85 K miles)
and when I tried to trade it on a 2007 Dodge Charger, they only offered
$200. CDN
I sold it to a courier delivery guy for $400.00 and I still see it scooting
around town.
It was a great vehicle for hauling the dog around but the wife & son ganged
up on me......................

I wanted to give it away but my wife is still giving me hell for
selling an old Celica with 240,000 miles on it for $500 about 15 yrs
ago. Eventually, she will get tired of seein it in the side yard and
she will decide she'd rahter not see it than have money.

Lower your price. These days you can get a nicer truck for a grand.

Who knows, with Obamaomics, might get a new one for $1000 in 6-12 months.

Sold my 1995 4x4 Pathfinder 210,000mi for $500, 100% operational but needed
a paint job, tires, ball joints, rust scrape, brakes, wipers, timing belt,
one seat with a tear... but motor/tranny was 100%. Didn't even burn a cup
of oil between changes. Could have dropped $4,000 to make it ace, but
didn't see the ROI since wanted to go to one vehicle anyways. So kept the
F150 as it is newer and can better haul a boat.

Can't you convince her it doesn't clash with the old refrigerators, used
2x4's, old crab pots and chicken wire you stash in the yard?
