Actually the whole bunch of them find me to be a fascinating person

it. They also know that while I have views vastly different from
theirs on many issues of the day, I cherish them beyond words and that
our differences are just that - differences. I belong to them and
they belong to me - family trumps everything.

Besides family dinners would be pretty freakin' boring if everybody
agreed on everything. :)

I used to run into guys like you all the time both in business and in
academia. Annoying little bug eyed critters with all the personality
of a rock wall and about as intelligent.

You use invective instead of reasoned argument. You use insults in a
vain effort to score points and obviously make up for your faulty,
highly ineffective and probably dysfunctional life.

Based on the evidence from you're posts you seem to be inadequate in
several areas, but I suspect this defect comes from a flawed childhood
- maybe an Uncle Ernie and some kind of activity involving pinball?
They have a pill for that - several different pills in fact. I'm sure
if you used the 36 hour version your life would improve vastly.

Oh - they also make implants that increase the size of your ...erm...
"package" - most insurance plans cover them believe it or not - it's
considered psychological therapy - it's great for guys like you who
suffer from intimate ineptitude - nothing to be ashamed of as it's a
very common problem with liberal men. Gives guys like you a feeling
of power and control in at least one aspect of you're life.

Sorry I can't give you advice on the other mental health problems you
have - completely out of my field. I have studied them just as an
scholarly exercise though so I'm probably not that far off the mark.

If you want I can put you in touch with one of my family members who
is a specialist in this area - MD/PhD from Tufts/Cornell (I don't mind
telling you that cost me a bundle - sheesh). I'm sure she'll be glad
to help you out as a favor to me.

Then again, you might not want to talk to an icky girl about these
things.

Just drop me a line and let me know. I promise not to say a thing to
anyone.

At least not right away.

Well, I don't know about your family life, Tom, so I won't comment on
it. But you "use invective instead of reasoned argument" and "you use
insults in a vain effort to score points."

You not only use an Olympus camera, you think you sit on Mt. Olympus,
and your opinions and thoughts and purchase decisions are *not* to be
questioned by mere mortals.

I don't mind that...it makes you more interesting and even more human
and ordinary than you think you are. It adds to your irascible charm, as
it were.

Besides, someone has to buy all those Etecs sitting at the dealerships.
And hey, when it comes to your photos, well, truth be known, I prefer
Eisboch's to yours. But I do prefer yours to Reggie's...at least you are
not going out there trying to retake the photos of the great masters.
It's one thing for Beethoven to write a perfect string quartet and for a
master that followed to pay homage by including a bar in his work. It's
quite another for an amateur to produce something almost entirely
derivative.

Have a nice day. :)

Harry is a sad little man with a sad little life.

He's obviously over compensating for a lack of virility - as in he
couldn't get it up with two steel rods and a roll of duct tape.

About the only thing intellectual about Harry is what he wipes off his
butt in the morning.
