Meanwhile, the GOP is going to move farther to the right and ensure it loses the 2012 election, too. Won't matter. CNN has a pretty gloomy documentary on right now. Not a pretty picture. I am starting to change my mind. We may be history. We are an experiment in democracy. What happens when the people in a democracy find out they can vote themselves booty, a piece of the treasury, their piece of the pie? When the citizens exist to serve the government, the country has lost its way. |

No, the public awakened from its stupor and threw the Republi-trash out. Do you have to be so childish all of the time? Can't you communicate on on an adult level? |

Then you have the jackasses like Waylon who are worried about my provinces' productivity...................................... . I believe that Ali guy said every American owes $ 184K. That may not be a big deal to a number of posters here...but look at JohnHs' share of that John + wife + 2 kids + 7 grandkids = 11 x 184k = over $2 mil (assuming his kids would need help paying their share) The panel said taxes would have to be doubled ( I ever understood why you guys can deduct mortgage payments from your income tax) I think the easy ride is over for Americans. Maybe we can get some of our doctors back who flew stateside to cash in on the high salary/cheap tax situation. First, dummy, we don't deduct mortgage payments from our income tax - only the interest. Second, it is nothing but a deduction. The tax rate is far more significant. I'll pay over $85K in income taxes - not counting SS and Medicare taxes. Add to that the payroll taxes *I* pay for all of my employees and we are talking about a lot of money for the government if they spend it properly. |

It is Carter II filled with Clinton retreads. Obama has gone from a Hope and Change message in his campaign to a everybody is going to have to suffer in order to make it better message. He now sounds like the communist party leaders telling everyone that the workers paradise is just around the corner and there is just a little bit more suffering that you have to endure. Nobody wants to hear that let alone live through it. Obama is in way over his head. If you were cleaning out porti-potties, you'd be in over yours. You could not do an honest job like cleaning porta potties. And some of the portable toilet companies are union. |
