What you need is a decent news reader ..... like OE or Windows Mail. They
work fine. :-)

I don't think it's Agent. I think it's the server. The same thing happens
here occasionally, and because other screwy things happen with Cox, I think
this problem is the fault of Cox also.

No, Eisboch is correct, it is Agent and virtually every other news
client threads correctly. Forte, apparently, has adopted a "quick
threading" algorithm that works fast, but poorly.

As part of Forte's beta testing group I think I have all of the build
since about 0.89.

Your 1.93 has the same flawed algorithm as the latest 5.X build...

How about 1.91? That's the one I use.
