Am trying to get my son to help put in u-joints and replace the driveshaft on the old Dodge Ramcharger (my old tow vehicle). *Now that I have my new Nissan, I have no use for it but he does. *It is really cheap transport for him. *Unfortunately, he isn't really enthused about mechanics. *While pressing the bearings out he got grease all over his arms and looked disgusted and immediately had to clean up. Early this year we did the brakes together and once it got really nasty, he lost interest on that. *He's gonna have to do it cuz I have no reason to. Well, I'd say that if he wants to drive it, then...... Nah, I'm not about to tell you what to do, but with my sons, if they wanted to operate on a vehicle was the throttle, the stereo and the gas cap, then they found out they didn't need to drive my stuff. So when they got their own, and something broke, they found out that 'ol dad wasn't interested either. they learned some automotive maintainability pretty quickly. |
