Am trying to get my son to help put in u-joints and replace the
driveshaft on the old Dodge Ramcharger (my old tow vehicle). Now that
I have my new Nissan, I have no use for it but he does. It is really
cheap transport for him. Unfortunately, he isn't really enthused
about mechanics. While pressing the bearings out he got grease all
over his arms and looked disgusted and immediately had to clean up.
So, I dunno what if anything will get him motivated to do this. Maybe
some people hate such stuff so bad they just wont learn.
Early this year we did the brakes together and once it got really
nasty, he lost interest on that. He's gonna have to do it cuz I have
no reason to.
