Did you have any problems finding good trades when building your home? I would assume you had great trades for the brickwork, but I was thinking more about plumbing and electrician etc. As soon as you post your full legal name here and I can verify it, I'll be glad to fill you in on the good, the bad, and the ugly in reference to serving as your own GC on the construction of a personal home. I will tell you that it is not a challenge to be taken on lightly. Was your current house the first and only time you acted as your GC? Nope. It was a house in Northern Virginia. |

It might be great fun to check the Northern Virginia tax records also. Surely you have no reason to keep that address hidden. Hell, I'd be showing pictures of the house! Or, at least a shot from Google Earth. -- ** Good Day! ** John H |

I love watching well designed and constructed homes go up. You must have lots of photos and the address of the one you GC'd in Northern Virginia. Where is it? Surely you're proud of it, right? -- ** Good Day! ** John H Harry has the balls. He will provide you with not only the address but also the photos and the Google Map link. Harry has real balls, that is for sure. Did he tell you the story about his MD wife going back to school to get her PHD? |
