Terry When some the blades of the impeller are broken off, you may only see water from the telltale at higher RPM. If you are replacing the impeller and any blades or pieces of blades are missing, you need to find them! They are somewhere in the cooling passages, and sooner or later will find a really bad place to plug things up. You can have a blocked passage in the head, and the telltale will continue to assure you that everything is fine - until suddenly, its not. While all this is true, I don't suspect this has any bearing on the topic of discussion. I don't respond to Salty anyway. I know where his head's usually at. It ain't a nice place. -- John Have a Super Christmas and a Spectacular New Year! |
