Sorry - that's the way I feel about it. SWS, I do not believe anyone should post their private information in rec.boats. I try to follow the advice of security experts as far as limited the amount of personal information that is posted in a public forum. Harry has always been a big proponent that the only people who should be allowed to post in rec.boats are those who make their personal information readily available. He has ridiculed those who do not post their personal information in rec.boats. If Harry wants the personal information to be readily available, why would he or anyone else care if someone posts a link to a satellite photo? Harry loves to talk about JohnH's trashy, gang ridden neighborhood, why is a photo highlighting Harry's 3/4 mile driveway, 5 acre lot and red barn off limits? If Harry did not want the link to his house posted, he never should have posted his address? I had a feeling the address thing was part of Harry's "I will blow anyone away who comes onto my property" macho BS. Harry is a weird bird, so one never really knows what he is trying to do when he posts personal information. Normally it is to pretend he is better than anyone else, that is wife is younger, prettier, better educated, makes more money, contributes more to charity etc. than everyone else's wife. Considering Harry's track record of posting outright lies, what makes you think that the address and satellite photo is really Harry's property? |

You sound like JimH when Harry posting a link to JimH's house and told Jim he thought his house was a tacky cookie cutter neighborhood. The traffic circle is no where close to your driveway and is part of the public street into your small subdivision. Your driveway is definitely is not close to being 200' long and 30 ft. wide. Uh, Reggie...the photo was taken from our driveway. In fact, if I recall, I was standing inside my garage because the pavers were out there with hot asphalt. Nice try, though.
