A religious person may indeed have faith there is a supreme being, but that is all. Ah well - you see, you can believe what you wish. I KNOW a Supreme Being exists. For a fact. Doesn't matter how I know - I know. And it really doesn't matter what you think about that either. This whole discussion is stupid. Only to you mere mortals. To me, being a diety myself not to mention Galactic Overlord, I find it amusing. I'll have to dig out my smiting handbook and smite a few of you to keep you in line. Let's get back to GM and unions. NUKE GM!!! And the UAW... Nuke Ford and Chrysler while youse at it. Both sux on warrantee. Oh really? Ford put two new brand new, non-reman engines in my F-150, a new cat system, new rear end and a transmission not to mention changed the EMM all in an effort to get the beast to tow 5000 lbs like they claimed. One of the results of all this work was a vacuum hose slipped off the vacuum pump causing the brake system to fail (fortunately in a parking lot) requiring a replacement hose (a silent recall) and they paid the $567 tow bill no questions asked. All the drive train work at no cost to me. And I have never, EVER, had a warranty issue in terms of payment - if it's covered, it's payed for - I don't even see the bill. Oh, one other thing. The dealer is outstanding. The oil change before this last one, I asked them to check the brakes as I thought the front ones were looking a little worn when they rotated the tires. Said they wre fine. Well, they weren't because one week later, I heard grinding noises, knew the brakes were bad and they replaced the rotors, calipers and brakes - no charge. Don't tell me about Ford - wouldn't buy any other car. And I would remind you that Ford may just make it through this as our only domestic, all American auto manufacturer. Ever. My 99 Expedition had both outside rear view mirrors desilver. 37k miles and 2 years new. Will not do anything because the mileage warrantee is up. F'n mileage on a rear view mirror. Daughters 2000 Explorer. 1" thick sheet of yellow fixit receipts under warrantee. They addmitted the car should have gone back under the lemon laws but too many miles by then, At 105k miles the engine ran bad. They wanted $500 to just look at the motor to see what was wrong. Pull the heads. Pulled the valve cover to see the the rocker for #1 cylinder sleeping on top of the head. Maybe just crappy dealer, but left a very bad feeling. |

Why would your V8 ford not tow a 5000 pound trailer load? My '97 F-150 did without breaking a sweat. |

I am just asking a few questions based upon your posts. I do find your complete lack of concern for the welfare of your neighbors and the local wildlife appalling. I and everyone who cares about wildlife hope you realize who short sighted feeding wildlife is. Now, tell us about your 5 acre lawn and 3/4 mile driveway. |

Harry, why do you really care if someone posts a satellite image of your home? After all, didn't you post your post your name, address and telephone number, fax number and cell number in rec.boats? I seem to remember something about that a few weeks ago, but really didn't care that much about it. |
