I really liked the first two photos, in both color and B&W. They seem to
me to do a perfect job of capturing the mood of Cape Cod.

There really isn't much to take pictures of on the beach. Sand and water
isn't all that interesting.
Sometime I'll bring the other camera down here with the tripod and telephoto
lens and capture
some of the ships entering and exiting the canal. It's pretty cool. I
listen to them on a hand-held VHF radio and often a large one will stop just
offshore and drop anchor, waiting for other traffic to clear the canal.

Cool. Now I know who to ask when I screw it up.
When I first started using it, there was an issue whereby instead of
publishing only "modified" files, it would publish "all" files. I contacted
Yahoo's tech service and they acknowledged there was a problem. A day or two
later it was fixed. I like it.

I remember back when I first set up the original "Boats of Rec.Boats"
website. There were no transparent type website software packages readily
available and I did everything in html code. I remember I created a
spreadsheet and whenever anybody wanted to add a page with their boat
picture, I had to modify the spreadsheet with another page link, modify the
home page (all in html), then re-load the whole kit and kabootle to the
website host. As the site grew, it became time consuming, plus people
started asking for different options like listing alphapetically (which I
figured out how to do), etc. Eventually, between work and other events
going on, I simply couldn't spend the time to maintain it.

It would be simple now, with modern software packages like Sitebuilder.
