When they first started the project 6 years ago, the dune I was standing on top of didn't even exist - it was just a small mound. Now, it's damn near forty feet high. In theory, they are moving right down the beach with this project restoring them to what they used to be 100 years ago. It's working so far. -- "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." Never took to "Twin Peaks" - it got a little too weird for me and that's saying something. I do like Lynch's work though. A good friend of mine, Ross Ruediger who lives in San Antonio, TX (writer, critic, editor and independant film consultant) wrote and directed his own self-financed movie "Ravenswan" which is very Lynchian in construct - big time Lynch fan. He's good friends with Jackie Earl Haley who is playing Rorschach in the upcoming "Watchmen" movie. They are both Lynch nuts. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488897/plotsummary -- Happy Holidays and Merry Whatever It Is That ****es Liberals Off. |
