Talented sure - amazing poise for a six year old of course. Tear to your eye - bah - humbug. I thought she had a very nice voice and near perfect pitch. However, I have to admit that I find something troubling about kids that age (I think she was six?) becoming involved in high stakes competition, pressure and/or professional careers. They are kids for cripes sakes. Maybe I am wrong, but if I were one of her parents, I'd encourage her to enjoy her singing, maybe take some music and voice lessons, but keep it low-keyed until she was in her teens. It disturbs me that the possibility of adults influencing a kid at that age, exploiting a talent for financial gain exists. Eisboch |
