Default Lest we forget...

....an awful lot of American families are in need this holiday season,
probably more who need help than in decades. Families have lost their
jobs, their homes, their health. There is no shortage of suffering people.

Unfortunately, many public social service agencies and private
religiously based organizations that help those who need it have fallen
on hard times themselves because of the sinking economy.

So, if you have a little to spare, why not share it with those who have
a lot less?

There are lots of ways to give so that others might have a roof over
their heads, or heat, or food, or health care. In this household, we
give directly, and we give to the Salvation Army, and Catholic and
Jewish Family Services. We have found these organizations to be honest
and in the forefront of helping those who need it the most.

I'm sure you have charities in your area who do good work for the needy.
Try to help them so they can help others.

A very good post, Harry.

I and mine do a lot of volunteer work, especially this time of year.
And will continue to do so.

We believe in generosity.

Thanks!

Great. For once, Harry posts something that is not slander on others,
then you come up with your low life vulgar crap. You are nothing but
gutter trash.

A post from this disturbed, sick person is not worth the energy to click
