I know JohnH is back. *Been painfully watching him catch up on all the old

No, but I think I remember "slammer" now. *Didn't he originally post under

Why so concerned about him when you are so unconcerned about the
disgusting behavior of herring, DK, bar, FloridaJim, and the rest of the
right-wing losers?- Hide quoted text -

Oh, I'm sorry, I was thinking of another post. Yes, I'm begging for
undue forgiveness.

But seeing people were thinking of handles for "Eat Me Trolls" I
thought I'd throw in another that I had rememebred.

Actually in trolls, corsair and what not, you consider the source and
go on.

That was dumber than anything Donnie has posted in the last week.

Hee hee...speak of turds and Diaper Dan jumps right up.

Sure! They always drop the price of the turkeys. even to the point of
losing money on them. "Lost leader" advertize the bird at low pricing,
then capitalze on the accessories. stuffing , cranberry, butter, flour
etc....

Oh.

I thought it was good news. I don't buy turkeys. I just eat 'em.

Eisboch
it's still good news.

now you get to eat 'em cheaper.

Wife said grocery prices are down. She stocked up on cheese.
Maybe 10 pounds.
Turkey is a twenty pounder.
Say, can you stuff a 20 pound turkey with 10 pounds of cheese?
Then deep fry it?

--Vic

I paid $1.25 a pound today for a nice, fresh, Butterball turkey.

Safeway has them up to 16# for $5.99. Bigger is $7.99. You got ripped off.

Um...er...

I guess, but doesn't that normally happen around this time or is it
more than what has happened in the past?

All I know is Mrs.E. called me all excited because she bought a turkey and
couldn't believe how cheap they were. She said they haven't been this
cheap
in years.

I was so excited I had to take a walk.

LOL!!

Yeah - been there, done that. Last time it was ham - which I don't
really eat. :)

good job on the food bank. Our local soup kitchen is in financial
difficulty. Wife's faith sharing group is going to help support it.

Sounds like someone expressing some inner turmoil over your means. Only
knew one other person here to do that. Would be no surprise if it were the
same person. He started becoming scarce when this guy showed up.

What cracks me up is that nobody here knows what my "means" is.
All I've ever done is describe some aspects of my working career.
How people interpret that is completely fabricated in their own minds.

Well, you did post pictures of what you called your house, and some of your
other assets which would indicate that you are on the upper side of middle
class. (How's that for treading lightly?)

I would assume that the statements you made about the pictures were true.

In any case, in your shoes I'd sure not worry much about it. I wonder how
many letters the envious types have written to the 'celebrities' whose
houses were in the video I put up yesterday!
