Slammy, Union members and union employees are wasting their money on union dues. * They will get better return for their investment in dues if they just put the money in the bank. The union heyday is over. Benefits programs are disintegrating and soon you will be out of work, thanks to your own greed. The gravy train has jumped the tracks. Slammy, I hope you are smart enough, IQ wise to be making alternative plans. Union members and union employees are wasting their money on union dues. $60.00 a month...not a lot of money in dues. You, obviously dont know what the **** I do, and where I work. I DONT make the cars....... I MOVE the cars. The poster is full of ****, and probably works at Wal-Mart rounding up the carts. Most likely was fired from a " Union " job, for being a drunk, or has retired, and is ****ed off he doesnt have enough money to live on. |

Most of the schitts here who whine about unions or about the decent wages some union workers earn don't have the cojones to hold a real job, and are ****ed off that other, harder-working people can. Let me guess. Your new buddy drives a tow truck and plays with model boats. You sure know how to pick em. What skilled jobs have you held since getting out of the Navy? One of them wasn't jingle writer, or handbill designer, or stay at home boyfriend. |

That is why chapter 11 is necessary. Then you can really fix this problem and not just play rant and rhetoric to it. In chapter 11 the wages will be adjusted immediately. Management and union alike. |

Well, an attempt will be made by the bankruptcy judge or his assignee. All or most contracted parties must approve the reorganization plan in order to eventually re-emerge out of Chapter 11. This would include management, contracted (union) employees, vendors and other creditors. The plan must also be believable and viable. Otherwise, it's off to Chapter 7 land. Eisboch |
