Anybody here with Alpha / Pactor experience ?

I'm trying to get my IC-718 going with Alpha, via the Pactor-modem.
I've got some difficulties in getting the IC-718 transmitting CW.
It only clicks, in a way I can recognise the proper morse code, but is
sends no tone.
Any reaction will be highly appreciated.
