I spoke to Garmin Tech Support yesterday. According to the guy I spoke
with, the latest version of the Garmin 3010 software (3.5) does indeed support both high speed NMEA and AIS sentences. My nobeltec AIS receiver has just arrived and I'm headed down to the boat this weekend to try it all out. "Pascal" wrote in message oups.com...
