Hi,
Can I extend an ST40 depth sensor cable?? - the one supplied is too short. I guess the additional length can be taken into account when the unit is calibrated. TVMIA |

I don't think that length is too critical. I spliced an existing Airmar
transducer cable to a new ST60 depth display and it worked fine. In your case I would cut the ST40 in the middle and splice a new multiconductor cable in between. I soldered and shrink wrap insulated each connection and tape wrapped the whole splice. David wrote in message ups.com...
