COMNAV Remote Rudder Angle Indicator

I have a COMNAV 1001 and would like to add a remote rudder angle angle indicator without buying the overpriced meter from COMNAV. Does anyone know what the output of the remote RAI terminals is or what type/size electrical meter would work.
