Super Snark was a so-so beginner's boat, but slower than molasses and really didn't give much indication that you were getting it right. I literally sailed rings around one in my Laser. Then we switched places and he sailed (slower) rings around me. I couldn't get that thing to get out of its own way. -- Jere Lull Xan-ŕ-Deux -- Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD Xan's pages: http://web.mac.com/jerelull/iWeb/Xan/ Our BVI trips & tips: http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |

I remember getting one for practically nothing with a coupon from Kool cigarettes. It sat in the garage for a long time, and I'm not sure whether or not I ever actually sailed it. Boy does that bring back memories. My first sail was on one of those Kool boats. Friend got one, we hauled it down to the beach and sailed it about five miles down wind. Found out after the fact that it didn't point all that well and could not make any decent headway to weather, so we beached it and walked back to the car. We spent the next week playing with modifications to the rig that would make it point better, but never got to test it, his dog dug a hole through the styrofoam hull and it broke in two. Frank |

Nope, tasted too good. Looks like that stomach is larger in diameter than the chest - a bad sign at any age. You need (new) glasses. And look at the size of that woman! My gawd! Yup! Over 6', built like a linebacker and could tear you in half without breathing hard. -- Jere Lull Xan-ŕ-Deux -- Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD Xan's pages: http://web.mac.com/jerelull/iWeb/Xan/ Our BVI trips & tips: http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |
