Looks like a Super Snark®. Fun, simple little boat. They're tougher than one
would expect.

The original version didn't have any cladding. It was just the dense
styrofoam. I remember them being on display in Caldor's Department
store for either $79 or $99 complete. They offered a do-it-yourself
fiberglass kit.

Super Snark was a so-so beginner's boat, but slower than molasses and
really didn't give much indication that you were getting it right. I
literally sailed rings around one in my Laser. Then we switched places
and he sailed (slower) rings around me. I couldn't get that thing to
get out of its own way.

Snarks don't sail fast with fat persons at the helm.

At the time, I had a 30" waist and about 150#, and the other guy was lighter.

Few have ever accused me of being fat, though I don't have the abs I
had when I raced the Laser.

I remember getting one for practically nothing with a coupon from Kool
cigarettes. It sat in the garage for a long time, and I'm not sure whether
or not I ever actually sailed it.

Boy does that bring back memories. My first sail was on one of those
Kool boats. Friend got one, we hauled it down to the beach and sailed
it about five miles down wind. Found out after the fact that it
didn't point all that well and could not make any decent headway to
weather, so we beached it and walked back to the car.

We spent the next week playing with modifications to the rig that
would make it point better, but never got to test it, his dog dug a
hole through the styrofoam hull and it broke in two.

Have you taken a good look in a full length mirror lately?

http://web.mac.com/jerelull/Xan/Rendezvous_2007.html#11

Can't stop eating long enough to pose for a photo? Looks like that stomach
is larger in diameter than the chest - a bad sign at any age. And look at
the size of that woman! My gawd!

Nope, tasted too good.

You need (new) glasses.

Yup! Over 6', built like a linebacker and could tear you in half
without breathing hard.
