Mine are stainless... so, I think I'd have to get something that would stick to that... not sure anything would without some serious prep work. You're probably right. I used "fusion" on my aluminum rudder plates. It sticks well and is surprisingly abrasion resistant. Shiny stainless may be a different story though.
