Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems carrying
a Sospender PFD which has a co2 cartridge as Carry ON or
Checked Baggage on the plane???

This answer starts with a caveat. I am a Canadian.

I checked with my airline. They gave me permission to carry a PDF and
extra cartridge. I pack both in checked luggage.

From the WestJet web site
(http://www.channelgroup.org/wjpassen...-inflating.htm) :

"Self-inflating life jackets with two small CO2 cylinders are
permitted".

-Approval of a WestJet agent is required.

Check with your airline. Check the web site first.

Jack
