I do have the guide books and use them, but I was hoping for some personal

your way in 2005, and if you're in a "Hawg" buyin' mood, we'll be sure to
stop. We visited Excursion Inlet in mid-June 2002, just before the
commercial fishing fleet took over the float, and really enjoyed your part
of the world. We've got references, y'know, ... I've swapped lies with DG,
the Crabber of Couverden Cove, and we're on a first name basis with the
Mayor of Pelican and Harry, although on second thought maybe those aren't
such hot references!

When the fishing fleet that goes to Cross Sound and beyond, fills thier
holds where are they going to take the catch now that the Pelican cannery is
closing?

You should have looked me up while you were in camp. I live in the
house with the greenhouse on the front just east of the store a bit.
Been here for 30 years. We buy fish out there as well as Sitka Sound
Seafoods, so there will be a market for those fish even if Pelican drys
up and blows away. Yup, my Hawg-in-Dos offer goes for any of
"Touristoes" who ask for me by name, when they come ashore.
