What was inaccurate about the statement that it takes longer for a teak
tree to grow than a teak deck will last?

Kinda depends on when you harvest the tree.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

Much of the teak used these days is farm grown and not even close to 30 years
old let alone 300.

"Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery, with photos of the beautiful lumber from
our early thinning harvest of 7-1/2 year old teak, tree owners enjoying their
trees, and the wonderful beauty of the areas we are protecting."

Well, a teak tree is a renewable resource. Synthetic decking like Tek-Dek is
made from petroleum products. Now which one would the environmentalists have
us choose?

Kinda like: What do you do if you see an endangered animal eating an
endangered plant?
