Default ping...Larry

Larry...need a bit of advice.
Just picked up an open aluminum boat with a Lowrance X85 sonar. Looks like
the thin wire leading to the transom transducer has been nicked allowing it
to spark to the metal bracket. What would be a good product to apply to
restore the wire to its insulating properties. Note: the nicked part is
just above the transducer...below the water line.
