Generally there is a plate or sticker on the boat with the builder's name
etc. as well as other info.
Failing that, a picture would help.
Wild guess would be a Siren built in Owen Sound by VandeStadt and McGruer.

The only name visible on the inside of the transom is DA BAmford.

It is not a Siren as it is only a 16 footer. But it is similar. The cuddy
would sleep two adults but you better be good friends as it is tiny.
