Default WD-40: the company's answer

....
:The CAS# 64742-47-8 for our solvent in
:WD-40 is classified as a
:"distillates (petroleum) hydrotreated
:light" material. ...

Well... This is getting a bit silly but the CCOHS (Canadian Centre
[sic] for Occupational Heath and Safety) Chemical Name for that CAS
number is Hydrotreated kerosene. It "is a fuel oil derived from
straight run kerosene..." So it isn't kero, but it is derived from
kerosene. In the remote case that anyone who cares hasn't already
looked it up: http://www.intox.org/databank/docume...ker/cie263.htm
is very useful.
