new macerator pump installation
"Peggie Hall" wrote in message ... Wilbur Hubbard wrote: It's just a joke, lighten up, dude! Doesn't anybody else think it's even a little bit sad that a woman would make a career out of shipboard human waste? If this is what passes for a life then something's drastically wrong. It may be, but it's been very profitable. However, I haven't made a career out of shipboard human waste, I've made a career out of helping people to avoid having to deal with onboard waste. Unfortunately nothing that allows people to avoid dealing with onboard human waste seems to apply to online human waste, though. -- Peggie Doh! Ever hear of a killfile? It's a cyber holding tank. You've got to be blonde. What a retard! Is it true you changed your baby's diaper only once a month? After all, it said on the box, "Good for up to 20 pounds." Wilbur Hubbard |

Wilbur Hubbard Nope, not a bit. Aren't you glad folks do that for your subdivision as well, or would you rather everybody just crap in the street? |

Aren't you glad folks do that for your subdivision as well, or would you rather everybody just crap in the street? Nothing wrong with proper sewage disposal. Nothing wrong with sewage engineers. But they need to know their place. One does not go around bragging, being proud of and setting one's self upon a queenly pedestal simply because one's entire life revolves around human waste. Do it. Make money from it. Be good at it. But, do us all a favor and keep a low profile about it. In spite of what Peggy might think, she's a laughing stock not because of what she does but because of her being so proud and haughty about her ****ty occupation. You've heard the "big fish in a small pond" saying. Well, Peggy is a big turd in a little sewage lagoon. People are supposed to bow down and worship her because of that? Hardly! If she can't take a joke about her false pride then she's even more pathetic. The small rag-tag here who cling to her every word and are feeling so good about themselves because they know somebody who wrote a book about sewage need to find a real hero and get a real life. new macerator pump installation
"Peggie Hall" wrote in message ... Gordon Wedman wrote: Peggie I'm involved in pretty much the same project as K2 and would appreciate some clarification on a couple of your points. You say "Put the loop as close to the thru-hull as possible ". Not sure what you mean here. My vented loop is about 1 foot higher than the thru hull. Wouldn't this lessen the chance of water being forced back into the toilet? "As close to the thru-hull as possible" doesn't have anything to do with the height of the loop, only with how far upstream from the thru-hull to put the loop. Obviously, how far upstream depends upon how much height is available...hence "...as close as possible..." You also say "tee the line from the macerator into the head discharge line as close as possible to the inboard side of the loop". This is the line from the y-valve to the vented loop, correct? No...the vented loop needs to be on the outboard side of the macerator. So when the Y-valve is set to run sewage to the holding tank the toilet is shut off from the thru hull and you don't need to worry about the macerator pumping back into the toilet, correct? Right...but not the way you're envisioning it. The plumbing should be: toilet to y-valve...one side of y-valve to tank, the other side to vented loop and thru-hull. From the tank to a macerator to a tee in the toilet discharge line that's AFTER the y-valve, but ahead of the vented loop. Thanks Peggie You final description is pretty much how I planned it except I had the macerator tied in at the thru hull, that is, after the vented loop. |
