Default Force 10 Kerosene Lantern

No kidding. You can get the red Chinese jobs in a lot of surplus
stores, as well. I wouldn't use them inside, but hanging in the
cockpit or elsewhere they are nice. I take a couple and put them in
the Zodiac and use them on the beach. If I forget one, so what?
Somebody gets a useful lamp.

In the boat, I'd have a more solidly built and vented fixed kerosene
lamp gimbelled and screwed to a bulkhead.

Perhaps someone can help.

We have an aging Force 10 Kerosene lantern, Model P250K, that we used
on our boat, that needs some sprucing up. We inquired of Force 10 who
was not able to help, advising that a company named Anderson had taken
over production of their lanterns some years ago.

I could find nothing on the 'net about a company named Anderson that
makes kerosene lanterns.

Does anyone have any info or a source for replacement parts? Thanks.

Are you talking about a "genuine" kerosene lamp, the kind with a wick? We
get these at Canadian Tire or Three Vets for about $5. GREAT lanterns -
good for anchor lights. "Spare parts"? Hell, just buy a new one!
