A couple of you have mentioned vacuum packaging equipment. I have
always thought that such an item could be useful several places around
the boat, e.g., storing electronics, keeping a set or two of clothes
dry, etc as well as for storing food. What brands and sizes do you
all have? Any other features that you would especially recommend?
Where can I get one at a reasonable price? Thanks for the help.

We have a Tillia FoodSaver. It's one of the better models, I think a "Professional," that
has a number of little features that are handy, like automatic cycling, and finer control
on the vacumn. I've seen their products at CostCo. Much of went into the freezer was
bagged, plus we used it for spare parts, emergency packs, etc. It came with some plastic
containors that could be vacumned, but we didn't use it much.
