Default transporting a boat from Ca. to BC.

Does anyone have any experience in transporting a boat from California to
British Columbia, about 1500 miles, by flatbed? Any companies you can
recommend? Any idea of cost? Boat weight 19000# and 31 feet long. I would
appreciate suggestions and information.

Thanks

Michael

Something you might try for information ..... find a "truck stop" in
your area and approach some of the drivers of flatbeds.
They might (I've talked with many and found most to be friendly and
willing to give info) be able to give you some names and even rates for
those with experience in this area and covering that route.

trucking has limitations of 12 foot vertical height, loaded. If you dont meet
this restriction you might try dockwise.com from ensenada mexico to B.C.
we sent a 33 foot blackfin from
port everglades to ensenada for less than 8k, trucking it would have cost lots
more and we didnt have to worry about vertical height considerations. There was
a web site where you could advertise your trucking needs and someone would
respond, I wish.. I could remember it.

I recently used BoatTrans Express to transport my boat from CA to Oregon.
(650 miles roughly). (30' power boat). Had very good results with them.

That's the information on the person I dealt with. Worth checking them out.

Good luck

Associated Boat transport out of Seattle, Wa. Jack Wolf is the owners name.
They have been hauling boats to and from the NW for over 20 years.
