No, I have not had the pleasure of this particular voyage. Three
friends have relayed their experiences, which I passed on to the
original poster along with some contact information he might like.
Two trucked it, the one who completed the delivery of a sailboat
(under power mainly) to Vancouver said he would never do it again. I
do not regard him as a wimp.


I've done it twice - Long Beach to Vancouver - that's why I said - Put
it in the water and drive it.
