The wife says I can have a mistress if I keep her far away and don't talk about her. So I go up for a month in the summer and take a trip. I did not have time to fiddle around with the furling they way I would have liked to and, in desperation, ended up buying a new Harken system. Next year I'll make another go at getting the damn thing apart, if I can't find extrusions. Of course, now that I have the new Harken, why do I need an old ProFurl? It just seems wasteful to throw away a good unit. Howard Scotty wrote: Isn't there a small screw that locks them together? Actually the unit has been up since the early 80's and I can't seem to get it apart. Does anyone know where I can get replacement extrusions? Or if the extrusions for other Profurl models will work as a substitute? Many thanks, Howard Let me guess Howard... you keep your boat in Chester... or Baddeck? Close?
