I tore a hole in my inflatable dingy that is about a foot long. Are
there any repair kits on the market that allow repair of a wound this

Since a Zodiac is made by gluing a bunch of pieces together, there is no
damage that cannot be repaired.

Never try to invent a method of repair.

Contact a good inflatable boat dealer (such as Tradewinds
www.twimarine.com) Buy a can of glue and a piece of material and follow
the directions.

Here's some more info.

By the way, I once bought an inflatable that had a 22 pound Danforth
stuck through it when it was folded up.

I followed the directions I was given by Tradewinds, the repair worked
beautifully. They have a great repair guy who gives good advice.

check the date on the glue before buying.. I also prefer the 2 part to
the 1 part.
