Here's a warning/heads up about FX sails. I'd be curious to hear if
anyone else has had issues with them. Back in mid April I ordered a new genoa from FX Sails. They promised completion in 4-6 weeks. I phoned them week 6 to enquire about my order. They said they were backed up and would ship "a week after next." So I let another few weeks pass and phoned them again. (It's week 8 by now) They said they were backed up and would ship "a week after next." Anyway at this point the alarm bells are ringing. If it happened to me, it's probably happening to many more. - Jim |

Same thing happened to me this year with a North Sail loft. Was told
new genoa would be 4 weeks and placed the order in the beginning of March. Finally got it the Friday before Memorial Day weekend! Maybe they all had a good season this spring? One good thing, they never even billed my credit card until I picked it up. Mike Jim wrote: Here's a warning/heads up about FX sails. I'd be curious to hear if anyone else has had issues with them.
