There have been many, many instances of fiberglass fuel tanks degrading because of fuel/resin interactions, especially with ethanol/gasoline. snip That's why "tank resin" is applied to the interior of fuel/potable water/hydraulic/waste/etc/etc vessels. Carries a mil-spec for the procedure as I remember. Lew |
