Its not a right wing thing. I am as far right as you get and am on your
side with this. Some people have really had bad times and maybe from
his view, this is what he saw. . Some people use excuse not to help
others - lets hope that is not his game.

Make one point clear. This is not a Left/Right issue. It is an American
issue, a people need help issue and a lets do what is right issue.

There is one thing I have noticed in the news is a BIG way and it makes
me wonder. There are Christian chruch after church that has been
stepping up to help but I have not seen one thing about Jews or any
other religion (other then mormon) getting involved. I find that very
strange. I hope it is just a media thing.

What an incredibly bigoted thing to write. I'd bet that most Jewish
congregations have already solicited their members for donations.

Here in Boston, for example, Patriots owner Robert Kraft has pledged
to match donations from the players, and of course is part of the $2
mil donation from the NFL.

Do you think its the responsibility of the press to report the
religion of everyone who donates? Have you seen breakdowns listing
the donations of Irish-, Italian-, or Greek-Americans? How much press
coverage to think is appropriate considering that the Jewish
population is only about 1% of the US? I've been watching this
disaster unfold all week and I don't recall a single news report that
focused on, or even mentioned, the religion or ethnicity of donors.

BTW, are you seriously claiming that The American Red Cross is a
Christian agency??? You seem to be assuming that if the charity
doesn't have the word "Jewish" or "Islamic" in its name it is
exclusively Christian.
