With all due respect and I am not so sure much is due. That is a
serious blunder of engineering. Douglas Fir has no business in that application. Also for the amount of work involved? It would be more cost effective to buy a pair or proper oars made of proper wood for oars. They dont ever LOOK good. Why go thru all that work if the materials and workmanship result in such a gastly nightmare? Bob friend to capt. neal and all like minded fellows of the sea. |
