There is a real internet troll that is named Gary Burnore. He used to post
under but now posts under the the troll site of
databasix.com and a number of others. Do a web search for databasix.com and=

you will find that such a site does not exist. It is not a web posting
service.

Pretending to be by identity theft of:
JAXAshby posting from null.databasix.com
Gogarty from
"Red Cloud=A9" from
prodigal1 from

and probably others that I missed.

Well, I sure got suckered in myself last night. It wasn't until I started
to check headers did I realize it was Burnore all along. I have known of
Burnore and the for a couple of years. He regularly
trolls a number of other groups that I subscribe to. Having been on the net
for many, many, years, I am embarassed to have been suckered in so easily.

Next time, I'll check the headers before I jump the gun on a post where
something doesn't seem right.

site, disguised to look like a real news service, though...when I
forwarded one of the garbage posts that used my name to
(one of the addresses shown on this page of the
site: http://www.databasix.com/contactinfo/) the reply I received was
hardly typical of the kind of response one gets from legitimate services:

applies to news or email....I suggest you and your friends learn how
to use a killfile.

So yes...databasix.com does exist, but as for who it belongs to and what
its purpose is, that's highly suspect.
