David B wrote: Hello all, my boat engine is proped at 13 3/8 x 19..I want to go to a 13 3/8 x 15, will this size prop give me more top end or out of the hole quicker. The engine is a 1997 Evinrude 115, 4900 RPM wide open trimmed up. Any help would be great. Thanks, David Dave, going to a lower pitch prop will give better acceleration, but will lower your top speed. Your engine will top out at higher than the 4900 RPM you now have. John |
