(sorry, couldn't help it) Anyway, in Europe it is a custom to fly a courtesy flag from the starboard spreader also. There is no other rule but the esthetic virtues of the skipper to establish the correct measurement in relation to the size of the vessel. I believe courtesy flags come in 2 sizes tops. Len. |
