I used my cellphone to connect to the internet and it was very fast.
It uses a digital wireless connection rather than a modem at the cell site like one of my older phones did. I was very happy with the result. Plus the connect time was not taken out of your minutes. Flat rate of $9.95/mo. Doug s/v Callista "muskrat" wrote in message oups.com... Doubting anyone will set up a WiFi node on Harkers Island anytime soon, I just use my cell phone as a modem. Slow, but it's always there. See you at Cape Lookout this summer? |
