Yes, we have entertained those options. The boat holds 95 gallons with
an auxilliary tank of 13. Three jerry cans with 18 brings us up to 126, giving us a range of 250 at six knots, which isn't too bad. By using tides and currents a bit we can make the distance and do some exploring of Tracy Arm. The purchase of some more fuel would give us some wiggle room on the distance. Have you been to Tracy Arm? Which is better, Tracy Arm (north) part or the Endicott Arm (south) with Ford's Terror? And email me the name of your boat. We sure would take a tow if you're in the vicinity, or even to tie up for an evening of wisdom! Capt. Jeff |
