Default lessons from history

just though those cruising should be warned to include some fresh fruit. My
english history book says that over a period of 20 years, around 1578, that
an estimated 10,000 sailors died of scurvy.....
The same book (Heritage of Sea Power) said that the Mary Rose sank because
the covers over the cannons were not closed when she tacked and heeled over.
So remember to cover your cannons when tacking......
