Certain people?

Take Capt. Skippy, for example. Poor bloke has had his decrepit yacht on the
hard for nigh on 18 months now. Will he EVER get back to sailing? It's
doubtful because his very HAWT wife is just too desirable sexually to
displease. So Skippy simply must cater to her every whim. That's called
"distaff side sailing" which is really another name for "put it off for
another year."

Then there's Bruce in Bangkok. What can I say about that Rube other than
"half-assed and half-way?"

Then there's "Anonymous". What can I say about that lap dog other than
"trained" and "owned".

Then there's "WaIIy". What can I say about him other than "Harry Krause sock
and PUTZ to the max".

Then there's "Gogarty". What can I say about him other than he's a real sailor
and the real deal.

Then there's Wayne B. What can I say about him other than he's no sailor but
he would probably make a very fine sailor if only he could lose the motorboat
fetish. HIs talents have been wasted on burning diesel. Sad! It could be a
Capt. Skippy, distaff side ruling, however so perhaps I should give him a
break.

And then there's Yours Truly. Yes sir, little ole moi. I'm the greatest. I've
lived aboard my highly modified, 27-foot, Coronado coastal cruiser - modified
to blue water fitness via positive flotation and other blue water worthy
upgrades. I've sailed my home a couple hundred thousand miles since 1987 when
I commenced full-time cruising. I've done so without any groundings or other
such embarrassment or damage to my fine yacht. Unlike Capt. Skippy, I cannot
abide ineptitude. I insist upon perfection in yacht, body, mind and spirit.
This means single-handing because women are too stupid or too ignorant to rely
upon when sailing. Women are great for a roll in the hay but pathetic for
navigating a yacht safely. They just don't have what it takes. They can't seem
to takes sailing seriously. On board they are eye candy at best and if they
can't cut the mustard eye candy-wise they need to walk the plank and good
riddance to them, I say.

Being pussy-whipped is an invitation to sailing failure. What most males fail
to understand is only a real "man" can sail as as point rather than a
counterpoint (as in female desires first). That's what happened to Bruce in
Bangkok and it seem Capt. Skippy is following in his half-way and half-assed
footsteps.
