I bought a "9 Ton Falmouth Pilot" Ketch last autumn in Wales. I'd only ever seen photographs in some of the magazines. So after a good look we bought her and sailed it back to the West of Ireland. We've had a great summer's sailing/cruising. "Modeste" was built in 1964. If by chance, any of you know anything about this boat or other boats of her class, please let me know. Declan I owned Modeste (ex-Brock) from 1976-83. I sailed her to Greece and was based in Spesai. Great cruising boat. I sold her to a German and English wife. Andrew Price ) |
