Here the Navy tests foil wrapped vs non foil wrapped RG-214. The foil
wrapped cable has the extra benefit of being lightning resistant, besides all the properties I have stated previously. Read for yourself: http://www.lrccable.com/lrc/tests/navy_test.pdf The LMR cable also has the same lightning resistant properties. |
