Default Leaving a sailboat in the Bahamas

I'm going back and forth to the Bahamas from Tampa area - does anyone
have any suggestions for safe places to leave my 30' sailboat with
5'5" keel for a few weeks at a time in the Abacos and also near Nassau?

One place you might consider is one of Troy's mooring balls in the
harbor at Great Guana. He would check on it for you as well.

Another thought is if you'd prefer a boat slip, I've heard that the
marinas in Marsh Harbor are now charging only 65 cents/ft.

You do not need to be a member to dock at Chub Cay. I believe it is
mostly a commercial enterprise, and not inexpensive when we were there
last year. My choice would be a marina at Marsh Harbour if cruising
the Abacos is a priority. There are also marinas at Green Turtle
Cay, Spanish Cay, Spanish Wells, Hope Town, Nassau and a few others.
Marsh Harbour is central to the Abacos however with good
transportation, supplies and services.

Thanks for heads up on SSCA - I just joined - seems worthwhile.
